This is because many women are not aware of PCOS and should know to take their symptoms seriously. Obesity is associated with PCOS and thus, can worsen symptoms and complications.
The ovaries may be enlarged and have a number of follicles that encompass the eggs. This may result in pain because of the cycsts that form and may rupture. As a consequence, the ovaries might fail to function regularly. The dysfunctional ovaries lead to irregular periods that may be short or too long. It may also lead to infertility problems such as miscarriage, premature birth, or inabability to conveive or carry.
